Fall in Traverse City is one of the most beautiful times of the year. Year round jaw dropping views of Lake Michigan are taken to a whole new level when the trees are popping with colors of yellow, gold, red and orange! Simply driving around Traverse City will fill your “I want to see the fall colors” tank, but if you’re looking to enjoy some awesome beverages along the way, here are 5 Traverse City Spots to Enjoy Awesome Beverages and Gorgeous fall colors at.
Suttons Bay Ciders in Suttons Bay
I’m going to start with my favorite, Suttons Bay Ciders, because I’ve been coming here for almost 6 years to enjoy the fall colors and it never gets old. As soon as you walk into the bar, you’re welcomed with the most beautiful views of West Bay and when the colors are popping it’s even more magical!
When you mix incredible cider with gorgeous views it makes for the perfect place for an afternoon beverage!
2 Lads Winery on Old Mission Peninsula in Traverse City
I love 2 Lads Winery because you get to drive almost the entire length of Old Mission to get there. The views on the way are breathtaking and then when you arrive you are rewarded with some even better ones and some really great wine. I definitely recommend reservations here as it gets really busy especially in the fall.
Some other wineries that have great views on your way to 2 Lads are Mari Vineyards, Bonobo Winery and Chateau Chantal.
Left Foot Charley in Traverse City
I absolutely love the tasting room at Left Foot Charley and it’s even more stunning in the fall! Stop in for some great cider, wine or cocktails and enjoy this beautiful view of the oak and maple trees.
Hop Lot Brewing Co. in Suttons Bay
I love Hop Lot Brewing Co. for so many reasons. Every time I visit they have expanded in some awesome way. They also always have great beer, local wine, and they also have food. To top it all off the property is surrounded by beautiful trees that are extra gorgeous in the fall!
Rove Estate Vineyard & Winery in Traverse City
The views from Rove Estate Winery are gorgeous year round, but extra special in the fall. On a clear day you can see all the way to Sleeping Bear Dunes and the millions of trees popping in color are the cherry on top. Stop in for a warm mulled cider or choose from their awesome wines and you have yourself a gorgeous Northern Michigan day!
