WHERE TO STAY AND EAT IN PARK CITY, UTAH

When we were planning our trip to Utah we didn’t spend much time researching where to stay and eat in Park City. I was too distracted by all of the hiking and other outdoor activities I kind of forgot about food. As our trip got closer we started telling people where we were visiting and the recommendations started to flood in! I assumed there were a lot of chain restaurants there because many tourist towns have them, but Park City was quite the opposite. There are so many unique Park City restaurants to choose from. We had some awesome meals when we were there and I wanted to share our favorites so you could check them out when you visit next! Keep in mind we were only here for a weekend. I am sure there are many restaurants we didn’t try, these are just our favorites from the short time spent there.

We also found a really cute condo for the weekend so if you are still looking for a place to stay, scroll to the bottom to get the link for the lofts we stayed in!

OUR FAVORITE PARK CITY RESTAURANTS

We received recommendations from many friends who have been to Park City but we also asked a few locals for their favorites. If you’re looking for some great food and a town where you can go and explore the great outdoors, Park City is the perfect place to do so.

GRAB COFFEE AT ATTICUS

Atticus is an awesome coffee shop that serves way more than just coffee! It has an awesome vibe and specializes in outstanding coffee, tea, specialty drinks and even baked goods and breakfast and lunch! We grabbed something from here a few times on our trip and always received awesome service and drinks! You can check out the picture below to see how big their menu is.

Aside from great coffee and pastries, it’s also the cutest little bookstore and cafe. Every time we went in it was busy so we knew we were in a good spot!

BREAKFAST AT FIVE5EEDS

Five5eeds was the restaurant that the most people recommended to us and we quickly found out why. IT. IS. SO. CUTE. AND. YUM. We walked in on a Saturday and it was busy but we got lucky and only had to wait a few minutes for a table. The decor is so cute I loved all their plants.

Aside from an awesome menu of delicious breakfast and lunch items, they also have great coffee.

The night before we came here we met the local baker in town who provides most of the sourdough in Park City. He mentioned they use it at Five5eeds so we were excited to try it out. I’m a basic bitch so I got their avocado toast and it was soooo damn good. I love that they added sesame seeds.

Jake ordered the chorizo scramble with grilled halloumi cheese and a side of the sourdough. His was also soooo damn good.

IF FIVE5SEEDS ISN’T YOUR THING….GRAB BREAKFAST AT THE EATING ESTABLISHMENT

Another breakfast joint that came highly recommended was The Eating Establishment. The two breakfast spots have a very different feel from eachother but are both very good! We personally loved Five5eeds more but I recommend simply checking out both of their menus and see what works best for you. We liked that Five5eeds sources locally as often as they can but The Eating Establishment was the perfect hangover spot. So it will simply depend on your mood. With that said, we did have a great experience at The Eating Establishment.

We both ordered omelettes. We tried the loaded potato and veggie. Both awesome. The only bummer was they didn’t have that incredible sourdough and we were here on a Sunday and they couldn’t service alcohol until noon. If you plan to visit on the weekend try to get there early, we lucked out with a spot at the bar but they were on a long wait.

LUNCH AT RIVERHORSE PROVISIONS

Our meal at Riverhorse Provisions was sooo good! We ordered to go from them after mountain biking (click this link to learn more about that experience) and it was the perfect reward for a super hard work out! Their bison chili poutine literally changed my life and I think about it far too often. On top of the awesome food, their service was great as well.

We also enjoyed their poached shrimp salad but if you are only getting one thing absolutely go for the poutine! But dang this salad was yum.

DINNER AT HANDLE

The barber who worked below our rental helped us find the perfect dinner spot: Handle. He asked us what we like to eat and when we said our favorite is farm to table he immediately said, “Handle it is then.” It was the perfect meal and ambiance.

The menu changes constantly so it’s annoying to recommend something. But, if they have them, their filet and scallops were so good.

They also made great drinks as well.

DINNER AT HIGH WEST DISTILLERY

If you’re looking for a more casual and cost effective dinner that still has great quality check out High West Distillery. I definitely recommend making a reservation here because every time we walked by it was super busy. We only got an appetizer but their wings were awesome and the guy at the bar next to us said his dinner was incredible. I was cracking up here because I forgot there were funky liquor laws in Utah. I asked for another drink and when he went to hand it to me he tried to take my other, I said, “Oh no, I have a few sips left and he said, “Well, you can’t double fist here in Utah! You have to finish that one first.” Speaking of drinks, their drinks were awesome.

WHERE TO STAY IN PARK CITY

We used Booking.com to find this super cute rental and really loved it. It was the perfect location, so clean, and a reasonable price as well! They have a few others on their website you can check out because they aren’t on Booking.com anymore. Follow this link to learn more about The Lofts on Main. We rented their 1 bed/1 bath and it was perfect for us!

Well, that’s my guide for eating your way through Park City. I’ve obviously wrote a lot about Utah lately and it’s because it’s such an awesome state.
