Once in a while, I love to create a photo-focused blog post, and Norway is definitely the perfect country for it! Honestly, I’d probably struggle to write a traditional travel guide for Norway because this place is just that incredible. The beauty of its landscapes is unmatched—you could visit practically any part of the country and see some of the most stunning scenery you’ve ever experienced. So instead of writing something like “Best Places to Visit in Norway” or “Must-Dos in Norway,” I’m letting these photos do the talking. My only hope is that they inspire you to book the damn flight and see one of the most beautiful countries I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting!
1. Bergen
The iconic Bergen photo— the only city shot in this entire post, and for good reason. With its charming, colorful waterfront, historic district, and dramatic mountain backdrop, Bergen beautifully blends nature and culture, offering a glimpse of Norway’s vibrant city life. But as stunning as it is, the fjords steal the show. Just wait until you see the next 19 photos…

2. Standebarm
This was just 30 minutes into our road trip and we had to pull over because we were in complete disbelief!

3. Hatlestrand
Just the view as we wait for the ferry…

4. Rosendal
Just a casual drive through the town of Rosendal…

5. Oldevatnet
These next two photos are from my friend Lotti’s adventures in Norway before we met up and she let me use them for this blog! These are definitely two places I’ll be visiting when I go back!

6. Lovatnet
I mean, could you imagine kayaking here!?

7. Eidfjord
I loved driving along all of the fjords in Norway, but I especially loved driving into Eidfjord, it was such a beautiful town. With that being said, it’s so beautiful that many cruise ships visit, so if you arrive when when of them do, plan to see a lot of tourists!

8. Aurland
This was a place I was really looking forward to visiting as the pictures I saw were just too good to be true. As soon as I got there I learned the pictures actually can’t do this viewpoint justice.

9. Undredal
Another place that I was so excited to visit as I love this travel influencer and she raved about this little village. The drive down to Undredal was out of a fairytale and it was such a beautiful place I had to post two photos from there!

10. Undredal
Again, pictures just can’t do Norway justice…

11. Sunndal
We were one of the first guests to stay in this rental and we absolutely loved it! I couldn’t recommend it more, here is the link if you’d like to check it out yourself! Yup, that’s a fjord right outside the window.

12. Sunndal
Not only was the rental itself cool gorgeous, it was just a quick walk to one of the most beautiful lakes and this was the view behind us on the way there!

13. Bondhusvatnet
Remember when I mentioned the most beautiful lake? Well, here it is.

14. Bondhusvatnet
And here’s another photo from it looking the other direction.

15. Elva Hotel
Although this view isn’t as jaw dropping as some of the fjords we saw, I still think this photo is worth being in this collection because our hotel room was so unique and waking up to this view was so special! If you love modern design and architecture, a stay at Elva Hotel is an absolute must.

16.
I had to do a few photos I took from the car because Norway is full of surprises! Sometimes you’re driving right next to waterfalls and if you open your window you’re definitely feeling it….

17. Gudvangen
And other times your moving down the road and your jaw is on the floor, because you’ve lost count of how many waterfalls you see in the distance…

18. Gudvangen
So many beautiful hikes in this area to choose from, this is about half way up the Rimstigen Hike.

19. Gudvangen
This hike was absolutely beautiful, challenging, and to be honest, didn’t end the way we wanted or thought it would! We saw a photo on Instagram and although this view was breathtaking, it looked different than the photos. So if you do this hike, just keep this in mind. Funny to complain when the view looked like this…

20. Lofoten Islands
This last photo isn’t mine, but it’s the last one of this post, because it’s where I plan to go when I visit Norway next! It looks like an absolute dream!

I’ve said it a million times, but Norway is the most dramatic and stunning country I’ve ever been to! I never thought I’d find a county I find as beautiful as New Zealand but I have to say, Norway takes the cake! If you’ve been wanting to visit, I have four words for you, “Book your ticket now!” These photos are from a very small part of Norway, there is so much to explore and so much beauty to see. Thanks so much for reading along! Click here to read my other blog posts!
